Marketing Assistant for PBS Television Series Production Company
Lead Me Home is a Television Production Company that will produce a social advocacy TV series for PBS, beginning in New York State in 2020, and then expanding to national status. Headquartered in Binghamton, NY, Lead Me Home will work at production facilities in Binghamton and Syracuse in producing the first season of the television series, as well as producing a radio show, live events, GPS-tracked clothing, and an interactive website.
The Marketing Assistant: The individual filling this position will work closely with the Lead Me Home producer to develop and implement marketing strategies, including a crowdfunding campaign, to raise the profile of Lead Me Home, and to support the generation of revenue for the production company, e.g. sponsorships, investments, grants, donations, etc. and to assist with the design and development of all marketing tools, such as the website, live events, and interaction with the press and broadcast media. You should be a Marketing major close to finishing a BS, MBA, or Doctorate in Marketing. The position will be paid, including commission bonuses based on performance.
WE WILL INTERVIEW ON THE BINGHAMTON UNIVERSITY CAMPUS.
Currently, Lead Me Home is in the process of pre-production of the TV series, the website, and publicity and fundraising campaigns. Ambitious, innovative, energetic Business Management and Fine Arts Interns are sought for the following roles:
Financial Manager/Strategist
Event Planning Specialist
Financial Manager/Strategist
Information Technology Specialist - Website Creation and Management
Information Technology Marketing Specialist – National Class PowerPoint, Pitch Deck, and other promotional materials creation
Dramatic Performers - Two individuals from the School of Fine Arts specializing in Drama are required for television appearances, live events, etc.
These positions are expected to both produce remuneration for the Interns that fill them, and expand into full-time employment at competitive salaries. This will be discussed in interviews.
